Jay is a staff counselor at WellConnect and a human resources and internal relations administrator for a local business in El Paso. Jay holds a bachelor’s in biomedical science and is pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. He serves as a volunteer firefighter in Dona Ana County and understands the importance of supporting first responders and their families. Jay believes that progress, no matter how big or small, is progress by definition.

In his free time, Jay enjoys artisan baking, watching a good movie, reading motivational books, being a Disney fanatic, and planning vacations for himself, his family, and his friends. Jay intends to become a full-time certified counselor and a certified travel agent and be more involved with volunteering for Texans to the Rescue.
